Aizawl, April 10 - Capt Praveen Dayar (rtd), member, National Commission for Minority Affairs called on Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla at the latter’s residence recently where they had a close interaction.
Capt Dayar told the Chief Minister of his purpose of visit to Mizoram, mentioning that he also had last year visited Mamit regarding Multi-Sectoral Development Project (MSDP).
Chief Minister on his part told the visiting NCM member that he hopes the minorities in Mizoram surely get the benefits under PM’s New 15-Point programme and MSDP.
Capt Dayar during his visit held a meeting with State Government officials and dicussed the various initiatives through New 15 Point Programme and MSDP. He visited Kolasib district and held a meeting with the officials on New 15 Point Programme for the welfare of religious minorities.
